The Law of Tithing
By Ananda Ma
I believe and follow the Law
of Tithing. It brought order, balance, and
peace into my life back all those years ago when my
life could only be described as being in chaos.
May I suggest that we all read or re-read for
ourselves the
third chapter of Malachi
and the
first chapter of Haggai
in the Bible, and
what Maitreya has written in
The Holiest Of The
Holies on the
Law of Tithing, and/or said in the
Satsangs
(Discourses), etc.
The Prophet of God,
Maitreya (GIWH), is now on earth. He
has brought us the Revelation of the Seventh Seal.
He has shown us the Way of God. Years ago he
revealed that New Jerusalem will be built
here in Rio Rancho, New Mexico (of
course, the True New Jerusalem is Heaven Itself). He suggested a
way to start acquiring land so to start a
Community of Light. As we know, a
true Community of Light is one
where the Eternal Divine Path and
God's Laws are followed. The
Communities of Light are also the base for
the Kingdom Of Heaven On Earth. Could Tithing
be the missing key in the implementation of God's
Plan on earth?
In the book of
Haggai, chapter 1,
verses 4-7, we find God warning His people:
Is it time for you, O ye, to dwell
in your cieled houses, and this house lie waste?
Now therefore thus saith the Lord
of hosts; Consider your ways.
Ye have sown much, and bring in
little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink,
but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but
there is none warm; and he that earneth wages
earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes.
Thus saith the Lord of hosts;
Consider your ways.
As Maitreya
has said, God did not ask our opinion of His Laws.
Like the Ten Commandments and keeping the Holy Days
of God, Tithing is the Law of God. He demands
that we accept and follow His Laws. Why?
It is because His Laws help us to be focused on Him
and His Ways so that we might progress to reach our
Goal, to be(come) Divine.
