Favicon Added
The "favicon"
of a website is the small icon that appears next to its
name on your browser tabs, favorites list, etc.
For example:
Favicons help users easily
identify a site and distinguish it from others, and are
a small but important part of a professional website
design.
We are pleased to announce that
the Mission website now has its own
favicon. It is currently a miniature version of
The Greatest Sign, although we are
experimenting with other icons as well to see what would
look the best. It should now be easy to pick out
the Mission website among any other
pages you have open simply by looking at the icons!
Note: If you
cannot see the Mission website's
favicon, you may have to completely clear your browser's
history (make it completely forget everything it knows
about our website, so it has to find everything again,
including the favicon) and then restart your browser
before it will show up.
