Ka Hinga Te Arai
(The Curtain Will Fall)

For the Maori people of New Zealand, the End Time is described as: -Ka hinga te arai – The curtain/veil will fall-, and just like when opening the curtains on a window and letting the sun shine in, this prophecy has a positive feeling about it.
 

The Prophecy:

The Elders of the Maori people of New Zealand speak of a time when there will be the reunification of the primordial partners Rangi (Father Sky) and Papa (Mother Earth).

This follows from the ancient Maori creation legend in which Rangi and Papa were locked together in a tight embrace.  From their union came six male children who lived, cramped and squashed, between their parents.  As the children grew, they contemplated what it would be like to live in the light.  After a meeting of the God Children it was decided that Tane, the God of the forests and the birds, would push their parents apart.  He succeeded in doing this and went on to create Humankind.

The Maori Elders state that there will be a time when the children of Tane are so distracted by fighting, greed and lust and so separated from our original parents, Rangi and Papa, that we will lose our connection and understanding of the natural order of things.  At this time, Rangi and Papa will take the opportunity to come back together and destroy everything in the process.

The Elders’ prophecy says that in 2012 an event called the ‘Ka hinga te aria’ will occur which translates to the ‘fall (hinga) of the curtain/veil (aria).'  The falling of the curtain will allow the world of humans and other physical entities to merge with the world of spirits and Deities.

What is found behind the veil\curtain I believe is The Greatest Sign and THOTH.  The prophecy is the same as the Hopi Blue Star prophecy saying about the End Time that “It will come when the Saquasohuh (Blue Star) Kachina dances in the plaza and removes his mask.”  Also, this prophecy is similar to the Inca prophecy of the Eagle and the Condor, so again we have connections all the way across the world from America to New Zealand, proving once more that humans are all connected.  Finally, these are all related to the coming of the Seventh Angel, because in the Bible it says that the Seventh Angel is going to open a book, a book that is sealed.  So again, I think the veil\curtain is lifted already, and behind it is The Greatest Sign.

Below are several excerpts from the Book Sealed With Seven Seals page in the prophecies section of the Mission website.  I think they explain how this prophecy, “Ka hinga te arai”, “The curtain/veil will fall”, fits in with the coming and unveiling of the Seventh Angel:
 

THOTH is The Sealed Book

“And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed.” (Isaiah 29:11)

“But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end:…Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.” (Daniel 12: 4,9)
 

THOTH will unveil the Mystery of God

“But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he has declared to His servants the prophets.” (Revelation 10:7)

According to Scripture, God would be a mystery until the Seventh Angel comes and explains the mystery of God (sealed book).  This is fulfilled through Maitreya, who is the Seventh Angel and revealer of the seven steps of the Eternal Divine Path and The Greatest Sign.

"Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts:…" (1 Corinthians 4:5)

“Until the Lord comes” signifies the same thing as promised Daniel until the time of the end (Daniel 12:9), which is when Christ returns.  He will bring the Sealed Book and its contents will reveal the hidden things, or the mystery of God.  THOTH is the fulfillment of this prophecy, and its pages contain a complete explanation of God’s Plan.

"These things have I spoken to you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak to you in proverbs, but I will shew you plainly of the Father.” (John 16:25)

Christ promised His disciples that eventually He would no longer speak in parables to them.  This was not fulfilled during His lifetime, as He never explained the Father plainly.  This is the same promise as contained in the prophecies by John and other prophets.  Maitreya is the fulfillment of this promise and in THOTH, explains in plain language the nature of God or Father.

". . . in the eyes of the true God . . . His Light shall be revealed, where the mysteries of His Faith shall be unveiled" (Challenging Requirements of the Present Hour, p. 28).

In Baha’i prophecy, we are given the same symbol as in Christianity, which is that this Prophet will unveil the mystery of God and His Faith.  Again, this is fulfilled through Maitreya and THOTH, which unveils the mystery of God's Faith.
