Baha'i Faith, their symbol originally was a five pointed star not nine pointed

The Baha'i Faith is the fifth Revelation by God.  This is supported by their original symbol that was a five-pointed star.  Here is an explanation, by a Baha'i, in a news group on the Internet:

In article <6974m0$7ks$1@nnrp3.snfc21.pbi.net>, "Robert A. Little" <littlera@pacbell.net> writes
Question: >As I understand it, the symbol of the Baha'i Faith is the number nine, not
>the nine pointed star. This is a symbol: in the decimal system, there are
>nine numbers. Each is equal in weight to the other, but the higher numbers
>contain within them the lower. Nine, being the highest, contains within it
>all others. An appropriate symbol of the Faith of Baha'u'llah.

Answer: "Strictly speaking the 5-pointed star is the symbol of our Faith, as
used by the Bab and explained by Him.  But the Guardian does not feel it
is wise or necessary to complicate our explanations of the Temple by
adding this."
