Our long-term member and brother Hosanna, after a battle with lung cancer, left his body last month.  He was a great and dedicated member, and helped the Mission in many ways.  We pray for him and his family, and look forward to meeting him again in his next life.

Hosanna asked his family to send a letter to the Mission and Maitreya after his passing.  It is a beautiful letter, so we have scanned it for all to read (click to enlarge):

Since Hosanna's passing, many Mission members and others connected to the Mission have left their condolences on Hosanna's Facebook wall.  We are copying them here (names of Hosanna's family members have been replaced with ___ to maintain their privacy):

Maitreya: Accept our prayer for Dan and condolences to his family and friends.  He believed in reincarnation, so do we.  We look forward to meet him again in his next life, for sure!

Sarah-Ji: Dan (Hosanna) helped to build the beautiful room that my 87-year old Alzheimer's mother has been living in for the past 3 years.  When we tried to thank him for his work, his answer was always, "All thanks go to God."  We offer our prayers and condolences to his family.

Noor: Sal-Om Hosanna.  I look forward to meeting and working with you again.  God be with you, brother.

Keyosha: Sal-Om Hosanna, I would like to echo Noor's words...  I look forward to working with you again to bring His Kingdom, God always Bless and Keep you as I know He will.  ___, also, God Bless your family.  It is a comfort to know that you all know that Dan is at peace now :)

Erik Ronald: Sal Om ___, I am from Indonesia and work for the Mission too, never know Dan in personal.  Please accept my condolence for his family.  I sure Dan has a better place now and hope to meet him in the next life.

Ananda Ma: Thank God for the opportunity to know Dan, and to work with him here at the Mission of Maitreya.  Condolences to you, and to all his family and friends.

Shehim: Sal-Om, It was kind of a shock for me to read these mail.  Hosanna helped me with answering some of my questions and worries when i was a beginner in the Mission.  And we had some Godly chat also.  I hope we will see again...God is great.

Paul: My condolences to the friends and family of Hosanna.  Hopefully in the near future medicine will advance to the point that cancer becomes easy to treat.  Although I only knew him by way of Email for a short time, it was obvious that Hosanna was completely faithful to the Mission and had absolute trust in God and the Revelation.  It is sure that he will be well remembered and his faith celebrated.
