Text To Join Mailing List

There is now a wonderfully easy way to join the Mission mailing list, even if you are not near a computer, using your phone: Simply text the word "Mission" to 42828.  You will receive a text response asking you to reply with your email address, and once you have done so, you are signed up!

This can be really useful for face-to-face outreach in everyday life.  If you meet someone who is interested in the Mission, not only can you give them a card or write down the website for them, but you can also offer that they can simply pull out their phone and sign up for the mailing list right there.  Business cards or notes can be lost or misplaced, or forgotten about by the time that person is next at a computer; however, signing up for the mailing list will create an immediate connection between them and the Mission, and they will then receive emails that will remind them to visit the website and study further.  Thanks God for this great new tool to help us spread His Mission!
 

Note: Remember that our mailing list is spam-free and managed by Constant Contact, a very reputable and widely-used list management service, and that those who sign up can always easily unsubscribe using links from any email we send them.  Therefore, if you do encourage someone to sign up for the mailing list and they seem hesitant or worried, you can feel confident in reassuring them that it is perfectly safe, legitimate, spam-free, and trustworthy. 

Also, please never add someone's email address to the mailing list without their express permission.  It is an unsavory thing to do, and is actually against the law in the US.  Furthermore, as we have said before, we are only looking for those who are already interested and open to the Mission and Maitreya's teachings.  We do not need to push this on anyone.  If they are not interested, leave them to God and move on!
