Strange Symbols Fixable

As we announced in last month's Newsbrief, strange symbols such as 'â€' and '“' have appeared in place of quotation marks, dashes, etc. on some pages of our website.  We now believe this happened due to us using our website editing program's find-and-replace option to fix some problems.  Apparently, it is not very well made, and using it confused the server about how to interpret these symbols. 

The good news is that now that we know the problem, we also know how to fix it.  Hopefully we will eventually be able to implement a fix across the whole website; in the meantime, however, we are working on a page-by-page basis.  Therefore, if you see a page with these symbols, please send us the URL at Mission_Of_Maitreya@maitreya.org.  If enough of us look through the site and find the pages where this has happened, we can soon return the website to its original state!
