Shield of Approval - The Mission of Maitreya has determined that it would be best to authorize the use of a Shield of Approval to the works that extend the teachings to all the world.  Currently, these projects are websites that promote Maitreya's teachings in various forms.  One of the requirements for maintaining this approval is that the owners of the websites must maintain their sites so that they are functional and continue to promote the teachings as originally accepted. 

This should include the process of verifying all links and pages within your site on a monthly basis.  The possible result of not following this suggestion, is that under a periodic check of the site, if it is in disrepair, the Shield of Approval may be withdrawn.  If you have any works that convey the teachings to the general public, please send them to the Mission of Maitreya for possible inclusion in the Shield of Approval program.
