1982 By: Shirin (presented at the 2015 Feast of Tabernacles Talent Night on October 1, 2015) Sal-Om everyone, This is a bit of a throwback inspired by the moon events this week. I am sure everyone heard about the Super moon, the Blood moon and eclipse of the moon that happened last weekend along with all the pictures on social media. It seems that this was a rare occurrence. Of course we know God is behind all things happening in the universe so we have to ask: How rare is this? When was the last time? For all the space and astronomy geeks out there, the last time this happened was in 1982. Pause for just a moment and let that date sink in. The next time this moon event will happen will be in 2033. 18 years from now. As we know, in the spring of 1982, Mr. Benjamin Creme placed advertisements in newspapers all around the world saying, "The Christ is now here". According to Creme, the name of Christ is The Maitreya. I actually picked up one of these announcements in a health food store in Tennessee. Maitreya and the Mission released THOTH to all of humanity in the Spring of 1982. All the articles can be read at the Mission website regarding Mr. Creme and also the Mission's original advertisements placed in magazines can be seen. The Christ/The Seventh Angel reached out with THOTH, The Last Testament for the salvation of all humanity. The release of THOTH is the most important occurrence in 1982. Also, in that same year: The advances in technology that began in previous years continued to gain speed in 1982 with the release of the Commodore 64 computer. The Commodore 64 is listed in Guinness World Records as the highest-selling single computer model of all time. And the first CD player was released by Sony. This was so huge and the shift was so significant that Time Magazine named "The Computer" as the person of year in 1982. With the coming of computers and internet the Mission could now reach the whole world in an instant which makes Maitreya the One Savior for the Whole World and not just a portion of it. Whoever and wherever anyone lived they would have access to the Mission Teachings free of charge to fully immerse themselves in the Truth. From THOTH, Revelation of the Revelation, Tablet 27: ”And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great." (Rev. 16:18) <3>The earthquake is always a symbol of the disruption of the old order in society and the coming of a new order to humanity. So the new revelation, or the new set-up of rules and system, will be revealed to humanity. The old order will fall off just like an earthquake which destroys the earth. <4>Everything will fall off the earth and a new kind of understanding, revelation, and set of rules and regulations will be established. Of course we know the New Order for humanity is revealed with THOTH and that is the true earthquake. However, in 1982 there was a huge break up of existing norms (or the old order) which had an impact on every person. "Ma Bell", as the government-backed monopoly was called at that time, did what it liked. The consumer only had one choice for their phone company and only one choice in rates. Consumers could not even own their own phone and had to rent it from the phone company. The AT&T break up unleashed a flood of technological advances for consumers. The breakup of the Bell System was mandated on January 8, 1982. This was the breakup of the biggest corporation in American history. This earthquake of the falling off of the old ways opened the doors for many new opportunities and eventually the internet. Considering the importance of our current phones with 4G and the internet now, we see how and why this particular earthquake had to happen for humanity to advance and the Mission to expand and reach out. Also in 1982 the movie Gandhi won Best Picture of the Year. Starring: Ben Kingsley. Mahatma means 'great soul'. Gandhi taught: "The Earth has enough for everyone’s need but not enough for everyone’s greed". To win Best Picture of the Year, this film obviously appealed to the masses of those looking for something else. A better way to live together and not be suppressed by an oppressive government. To stand for what is right in a non-violent way. It may have even brought people to investigate the Mystical Paths which we know is the first step in the Eternal Divine Path. From the Master Plan for Planet Earth (MAP): The only logical and true ideal is to redefine this earth as one country and to share all resources, abilities, and knowledge in order to create the ideal environment for everyone. In this way all individuals could progress to their highest potential — physically, mentally, and spiritually. It is the only way for human beings to gain peace, prosperity, and the opportunity to continue to exist! Again in 1982: The Walt Disney Futuristic Park EPCOT was opened. It means the (Experimental Community Of Tomorrow). How many thousands of people were inspired on such a large and grand scale to look to a brighter future in communities for advancement, growth and cooperation for all. EPCOT helped to set an ideal and plant a seed of cooperative living which of course is explained completely in THOTH as Communities of Light. Communities of Light are THE Answer for all the problems on earth - The 2nd seal step. We now see how God is influencing the consciousness of those ready for the Mission with ears to hear and eyes to see. Another movie released in 1982 was Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. That may seem odd to those not really into Star Trek. But for all of us Trekkies out there, in this movie there was a very famous quote by Mr. Spock which is still well-known to this day. It resonated in the minds and hearts of those who strive for higher ideals and hunger for deeper understandings. In the movie after sacrificing himself to allow his fellow shipmates to live, Mr. Spock says: "The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few". Sacrifice and not being self-centered. To be other-centered. So, maybe we need to go to Star Trek conventions to find us some Elects! Even in entertainment we see an example being shown to the masses (and this was way before the internet) of taking the higher road and not insisting on 'my way or the highway'. Of course, no one has to die for it. That sacrifice was already made by Esa the Christ so we may learn to be humble and become other-centered - Third Seal in the Eternal Divine Path aand overcoming the lower nature. To conclude: On June 30, 1982, Space Shuttle Challenger rolled out of her Palmdale, California assembly factory for the first time. She was transported overland to Edwards Air Force Base. News programs at the time broadcasted over and over the images of transporting the shuttle to the Space Center, the take-offs and landings, and communicated the excitement of the expansion of the NASA space program. This inspired many people to science, space, engineering and exploration. From the Final Declaration, Maitreya teaches: Humanity has to reach to space. The earth has limited resources. There are infinite resources in the universe (space). By reaching to space, man will be able to use these infinite resources. This will take away one of the causes of war and destruction (limited resources on earth). This will accelerate peace on earth. Since the entire human race has to be engaged in the exploration and conquering of the space, greater cooperation will be created among all people. With this approach and our teaching, men eventually will accelerate peace among themselves and will bring unity to the earth. And now just this week (September 28, 2015), NASA finds flowing water on Mars. It is just a matter of time before we will be buying our own space tickets! Keep in mind that these are just a few events in 1982 in the United States. Looking back at His Story, we begin to understand and realize so many events that further God's Plan. So in regard to the moon phases, current events of the world, scientific discoveries and even in our own personal lives we remember: From THOTH, Readings (The Koran), Tablet Seven, "Knowing God by Thinking About His Universe(Creation)": "<16>Only by this realization of how perfectly all things have been created can a man see the hand of God all around. Then he will never be alone or helpless, because he knows <17>the force that guides the universe guides him also." We cannot wait to see what is coming next and know it is all from God.
