"And I saw the seven
angels which stood before
God; and to them were given seven trumpets." (Rev. 8:2)
|
<1>So far one period of explaining the seven
seals is finished. Now each
Angel is related to one seal. Each seal is opened. Each
Angel
represents bringing the
tribulation after the seal was opened, and those who did not
listen to that Prophet will go through these
tribulations until
they become more ready to reach higher consciousness.
"And another
angel came and stood at
the altar, having a golden censer; and there were given unto him
much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints
upon the golden altar which was before the throne." (Rev. 8:3)
|
<2>This
Angel
that is the first of the seven, is related to the teachings that
were revealed by the horseman of the first seal or the Mystical
Paths (Rev. 6:1-2). <3>The incense is the beautiful fragrance
of these teachings, and the prayers of the saints are the prayers of
those who have reached or will reach higher consciousness through
them.
"And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the
saints, ascended up before
God out of the
angel's hand." (Rev. 8:4)
|
<4>All these were for Him and are offered to
Him.
"And the
angel took the censer,
and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth:
and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an
earthquake." (Rev. 8:5)
|
<5>These teachings and the truth behind them
were revealed to humanity, "cast it into the earth." They were
purified with
God, "fire of the altar."
But truth always is torture to those who have
false egos, so humans resist these Laws. <6>Therefore,
suffering results, and because they do not follow His Laws,
tribulation
comes, "and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and
an earthquake." <7>Also this refers to the beginning of the
new generation which was completed six thousand years ago, after the
flood of Noah and the revelation of the truth in the books of the
Vedas.
"And the seven
angels which had the
seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound." (Rev. 8:6)
|
<8>The seven
Angels became prepared to
bring the disasters to humanity because they did not believe in the
Prophets or follow the
Daharma. In
truth each trumpet is the teaching of the Prophet of each sign which
comes to humanity. But they will not listen to the truth. So the
tribulation or disaster follows.
"The first
angel
sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and
they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt
up, and all green grass was burnt up." (Rev. 8:7)
|
<9>By this, many disasters followed.
"And the second
angel
sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast
into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;" (Rev.
8:8)
|
<10>After the second seal, the second
Angel brought some other
disasters. "Sea" is also a symbol of the consciousness of the
people, when it is restless. So in the phrase, "and the third
part of the sea became blood," blood means that their
consciousnesses became so crude that they could not understand the
truth. It became bloody!
"And the third part of the creatures which were
in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were
destroyed." (Rev. 8:9)
|
<11>Disaster after disaster occurred. Even
those who were saved from the restless
waters ("sea"), "and had life," will also be dead in
understanding, "died." They were above these restless
waters in ships. But they
died and their secure places (ships) will be destroyed.
"And the third
angel
sounded, and there fell a great star from
heaven, burning as it
were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon
the fountains of waters;"
(Rev. 8:10)
|
<12>After the third seal was opened, the
third
Angel sounded the third
trumpet, and again, because of the actions of the people, the
disasters came to them. "Fountains of
waters" refers to the
Universal Mind
from which all true knowledge comes. Only those who are in
Pure
Consciousness can fully tune themselves with it.
"And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and
the third part of the waters
became wormwood; and many men died of the
waters, because they were made bitter." (Rev. 8:11)
|
<13>Water
symbolizes the consciousness. So the bitterness of the
water and/or the part
that was dead is referring to the crudification of the human
mind.
<14>By sounding any trumpet or revelation of each seal,
because of human confusion in seeing the relationships between them
as is explained in
The Greatest
Sign, the
minds of the people become
cruder, and many of them will fight with each other. They will
engage in wars and kill one another. <15>All these things
will occur because their minds (consciousnesses) are bitter (crude).
They have not reached that state of development to expand their
minds and see that all is
a part of a greater Plan. So their
minds are narrow, and that is the cause of all conflicts and
sufferings.
"And the fourth
angel
sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third
part of the moon, and the third part of the
stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day
shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise." (Rev.
8:12)
|
<16>As we mentioned, the sun symbolizes the
father of the family or the great people in the society, and the
moon
is the mother or the women in society. The
stars
symbolize the children or the great people who occupy the positions
in society. So with this
Angel, one-third of the great people, one-third of the women,
and one-third of the children, or great personalities, will be
darkened. <17>It was after the fourth
Angel
in The Greatest
Sign ()
that the dark Medieval period appeared and many wars were staged in
the name of religion. So one-third of history (day and night) became
darkened.
"And I beheld, and heard an
angel
flying through the midst of
heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the
inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet
of the three angels,
which are yet to sound!" (Rev. 8:13)
|
<18>Woe to humanity because three more
Angels will sound, and it
is after each of these last three
Angels that human progress and also
tribulation will be
increased.
<19>Here we can see that the first four
Angels came together and the last three
Angels came later in a separate chapter. Therefore, as was
mentioned, there is a relationship between these first four
Angels, and between the last three
Angels. <20>With
the fourth
Angel, which is the
fourth seal in
The Greatest
Sign, the truth of religion or the truth behind spiritual
understanding is finished. <21>And the rest of the
Angels came to expand the minds of humanity. <22>They
came to show how to become Universalists, how
God will help
Paravipras to
establish the Kingdom Of
Heaven, and how all the
truth will be revealed with the seventh
Angel.
